Piedmont Airlines Is Coming To Our Hangar. Bring Your Questions.

Piedmont has selected Fly Legacy as a preferred training provider. On Tuesday morning they'll walk through the Cadet Program, what qualifies you, and how pilots move from here to American Airlines — in person, at our Pompano Beach facility.

You Leave Tuesday Knowing Your Next Step

Most people sit on the idea of flying professionally for years because nobody ever tells them what the actual sequence is. This session ends that. Four things you can get done in one morning:

Hear It From The Airline

Piedmont is presenting themselves — not a brochure, not a recruiter video. Ask about hiring, bases, upgrade time, and the agreement with American directly.

Find Out If You Qualify

No bachelor's degree and no interview are required to move up to American. Get a straight answer on where you stand right now.

Map Your Timeline

Whether you've never flown or you're 200 hours in, our team will show you what your route to a CFI seat and the Cadet Program looks like from here.

See The Operation

You're standing in the hangar you'd train out of. Meet instructors, look at the aircraft, ask the questions you can't ask over email.

The Path Piedmont Will Walk You Through

It's a defined sequence with a job at the end of it — not an open-ended hope. Here's the shape of it.

  1. Train With A Structured Professional Program

Four days of flight training a week, with mentorship and career guidance built into the schedule.

  2. Become A Flight Instructor

Reachable in about 18 months, with the full program completed in roughly 24.

  3. Qualify For The Cadet Program At 500 Hours

Once you're a CFI with 500 hours at Legacy, you're eligible — and Piedmont begins reimbursing tuition monthly while you build time.

  4. Complete ATP-CTP At No Cost To You

At restricted ATP minimums you're enrolled in the course, travel and accommodation included.

  5. Fly As A First Officer At Piedmont, Then Move Up To American

You're placed in the next new hire class at Piedmont. From there, Piedmont's agreement with American Airlines moves you to the mainline carrier based on your seniority — you don't compete for the seat and you don't sit through another interview. Piedmont is owned by American, which is what makes that possible.

What The Program Carries With It

Figures Piedmont and Fly Legacy publish for the Airline Cadet Program.

Piedmont Airlines
$11,000+Minimum airline tuition reimbursement for Cadet Program students
$5,000Signing bonus for program participants, with Piedmont offering up to $15,000 for new hire pilots
No interviewMove up to American on seniority, with no bachelor's degree required

Program terms, figures and eligibility are set by Piedmont Airlines and are subject to change. Bring your questions Tuesday — they're the ones who can confirm the current details.

And The Part Everyone Asks About

Flight training costs real money. Nobody should pretend otherwise, and we'd rather you hear it straight.

Part of the answer is in the program itself — tuition comes back to you monthly once you reach the Cadet stage, your ATP-CTP course is covered, and there's a bonus waiting when you're hired. The rest of the answer depends on your situation, and there is more than one way students at Legacy cover the cost of getting there.

Come Tuesday, tell us where you're starting from, and we'll go through your options with you one-on-one.
